An image comes to my mind, the image of the perfect spring day at home in Alabama. Birds are chirping in the trees and the sun is high in the sky. It is hot and vapors rise from the black top paved roads like steam from a skillet. Then it happens. Drops begin to fall from a cloudless sky and cool the earth. The gentle shower refreshes everything that it touches and as quickly as it came, the rain disappears. Liquid Sunshine!
I am very fortunate to be a part of a group at Etsy called SHEteam...SHE being Schooling at Home Etsians. There has been a challenge set up for April with "Rain" as the theme. I have pondered the theme for days now and am excited to work on the project. This completed project will be posted on Etsy April 1st.
Be on the look out for other representations of rain by
some very talented artists and crafters.
