Two Skirts Remade

C outgrew this little skirt. Although the skirt was intended to be nearly floor length, it was almost knee length when she tried it on last. The issue was that it still fit her waist.

The green skirt was found at a local thrift store. It has gorgeous knife pleats in the back and angles downward for a full and feminine look. The two skirts were meant for each other.

After piecing the two together I crocheted and beaded a small belt and C had a brand new skirt for church on Sunday.

I love it! It is similar to some pics we did with our modesty workshop- but we just added a panel- this idea is really great!
