Coffee Break and Cyber Shopping

After waking up a little late today I think I need an extra Cup o' Joe! This got me thinking and I set off "shopping". Look what I found!

This is a tamari ball that reminds me of the frothy milk on top of my Cappuccino!

This dress would be perfect here in the deep south. Although I do not see me feeding chickens, I could definitely do a front porch swing and a cup of iced coffee!Enuwbe has gorgeous organic clothes made of bamboo that I would love to stock up on.

When I came across this soap I had to wonder if the caffeine from the coffee beans would give me an energy boost. I don't know but that would be the best smelling shower! Maple Hill Farms also has some all natural laundry detergent that I may have to try out in the coming months. I'll keep you posted on that one.

And yes, a little shameless self promotion. There are a few items in my Etsy shop right now that were made by some teenage friends of my daughters, like this sweet little leather wrap bracelet and a few bottle cap necklaces. Couldn't resist!

Now, back to my cup of coffee and my reading for this morning.

Making It On Monday...

I am going to go out on a limb here and share my heart. Please, bare with me.

I have been deeply convicted this week about a couple things and am not sure how to share. First is a phrase from Wednesday Bible study,"Do you love Jesus?" That question has haunted me throughout the weekend. We were challenged in church to consider every decision of the day from what we wear to what we eat to where we go to the things we say. With each decision ask the question, "Do you love Jesus?" then - and this is the kicker - Let Jesus answer the question.

Our family was so blessed to attend Stadium Fest and hear such speakers as Rick Burgess from the Rick and Bubba Show and Louie Giglio. We heard gifted musicians including Rush of Fools, Chris Thomlin, and Jeremy Camp. I stood there unable to worship and ashamed because the question would not leave me alone. "Do You Love Jesus?"

Peter once stood on the shore and Jesus asked him, "Peter, do you love me?" Peter answered the same as I always have, "Yes, Lord, you know I love you." But Jesus asked again"Peter, do you love me." Three times Jesus asked Peter "Do you love me." You see, Jesus did not want Peter just to say it, He wanted Peter to live it , breathe it, be it.

I have been a Christian for almost 20 years now, but when faced with this question, I have had to hang my head. No more!!! I am not sure what this will mean for me, nor how my life will change but when My Lord and Savior asks me, "Sonja, Do you love me?" I want to be able to say yes. No, I want to be able to be quiet and still and let Him answer the question for me. I want to be unashamed and hear Him say "Well Done!"
