Saying goodbye

Today, I feel confident that it is finally time to say goodbye to this awful cold that has possessed my body for two weeks. Goodbye to the bleeding in my ears. Goodbye to the hacking cough. Goodbye to the green fuzzy blanket that has kept me warm. It is now in the wash. Goodbye to the smell of menthol in my cough drops. Goodbye to sleepless nights. Goodbye to the pile of dishes which would not fit in the dishwasher and no one would wash. Goodbye to the pile of clean clothes waiting to be put away....Hello to life as usual.

What? Huh?

My husbands cell phone fell off the entertainment center and the screen was never the same. After ordering a new phone the old one was passed on to our son for "parts". Maybe we should get D some small, and I mean tiny, screwdrivers.
D thinks he also needs some appoxy glue and more "robot" parts.
